About Us
We at APL are passionate about providing service and quality to the Healthcare industry. Formed in 2003 when the founder Dakhsha Fraser purchased the well respected Starlight Massage Therapy Tables brand name. As a qualified and practising therapist, my main objective is to ensure APL's Starlight range of massage therapy tables and accessories are the lightest, and best designed portable massage therapy tables on the market. My first table was 15.5kg but within 18 months of practising I had developed severe back problems to the extent I was stretched out on my back for two weeks unable to move and not able to work for some time after. "When I came across the Starlight range of massage therapy tables it was as though I had been blessed with new lease of life".

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We guarantee any information supplied to us is secure and protected, our online

None of our customers have reported fraudulent use of a credit or debit card as a result of shopping with us.
In the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, you must notify your card

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
APL has accounts with courier companies and arranges deliveries through these accounts.
Courier companies calculate freight based on weight, volume and destination.
EU member states are generally on two to five days delivery.
If you require further clarification on delivery please call us and we will be happy to help you.
Delivery Schedule
We genrally deliver our therapy tables within 10 to 14 working days from conformation of the order. However, this may vary at certain times of the year.
For smaller items, we aim to deliver within 3 to 5 working days from conformation of the order.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption through FirePay on a secure SSL certified eshop . They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
STATEMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We make every effort to ensure the products manufactured and marketed by us are of the highest quality. We are governed by our suppliers ability to provide the quality of raw materials we require. There are times when this may be beyond our control.
The products we sell have many health benefits and enhance the quality of life for vast majority of users. However if you are pregnant, or have undergone surgical procedures or suffer from medical condition we recommend that you first consult your doctor or specialist before purchasing from us.
Our Lifetime of table warranty (5 years) guarantees the structure of most of our portable tables against defects in parts and labour to the original purchaser. All other products, foams and fabrics carry the manufacturer's warranty cover; most accessories carry 1 year warranty; and sewn good 90 days. The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper setup, accidents, misuse and or tears or cracks in the upholstery. The warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the item at Alternative Products Ltd's discretion.
ESSENTIAL OILS/ NATURAL PRODUCTS
Due to volatile nature of essential oil market, price commitment is made on the placement of order only. We endeavour to ensure accurate pricing for these products, and will do our best to notify customers of any price changes. Consumable items such as oils are not refundable once opened.
The stability and nature of organic products may be altered depending on storage conditions, and when used with other ingredients. We cannot accept any liability in this regard.
DELIVERY/ SHORT DELIVERY / DAMAGED GOODS
Our normal delivery is within 10 to 14 working days but this may vary for our hand made therapy tables from time to time, other items generally within 2 to 4 working days stock permitting.
If goods are short delivered and have been charged for, we will be more than happy to cover the cost of freight and send the goods as soon as possible.
Customers are advised to notify us for goods damaged in transit or short deliverys within two working days of receipt of goods.
REFUNDS
If you are not completely satisfied with a APL's product, simply return it in new condition and in the original packaging within 30 days of delivery date for a full refund. Please call APL for a return authorization prior to returning your table. Some tables and accessories may not be refundable.
All products and information contained on this site are represented in as true a manner as possible. Alternative Products Ltd gives no representation or warranty, or implies any effect ordinary or otherwise for any products supplied by APL, when these products are outside the control of APL. Furthermore, nothing contained herein should be considered as a recommendation by APL as to the fitness for any use.

Alternative Products Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy
Cancellations would need to be made prior to despatch. Should you change your mind after the order has been dispatched collection and delivery charges will be incurred and will be deducted from your refund . This must fall within 30days of the invoice date. Returns will not be accepted beyond 30days
